When your access ends

Access can end a few ways: a free month runs out, a subscription you canceled reaches its date, or a payment problem is never resolved. Whichever it is, nothing is deleted at that moment.

If it’s the free month, the household’s owner gets an email from us a week before, with the date and a button to subscribe. Nothing charges on its own: we never took a card.

Your data stays for 90 days

Your household’s records stay exactly where they are for 90 days, so a lapse you didn’t notice doesn’t cost you years of history.

Subscribe again within those 90 days and everything is where you left it. The screen shows you what’s waiting: how many transactions, accounts and budgets are still there.

Your export works the whole time

Downloading your data is available whether or not you have a subscription, for the whole 90 days. See how to export your data.

After 90 days

The household’s data is deleted for good. If you’d rather not wait, there’s a button to delete everything straight away. See deleting your household.

Paused is not the same as ended

If access stopped because a payment couldn’t be taken, the subscription is paused rather than finished. Update your card and it resumes, with nothing to set up again. If it just ran out, starting again means a new subscription.

If you’re not the one paying

A member can download their data and start a household of their own. Subscribing again isn’t theirs to do, and neither is deleting the household. Both belong to whoever looks after the subscription. See what members see.
