Switching between yearly and monthly

You can move between yearly and monthly whenever you like, in either direction.

How to switch

Go to Settings, under Subscription, and choose Switch to yearly or Switch to monthly, whichever is offered. The change takes effect straight away, not at your next renewal.

What you see before you confirm

Quidough asks the payment company what the change costs and shows you their figures: what you pay today, if anything, and when your next payment falls. Nothing happens until you confirm.

If you’re partway through a year and move to monthly, the time you’ve paid for but not used isn’t lost. It becomes credit that covers your next bills until it runs out.

Credit isn’t a refund

Credit pays for future months. It isn’t handed back as cash, and it isn’t returned if you cancel later, so an unspent balance goes with the subscription.

If you’re thinking about stopping altogether rather than changing how often you pay, canceling is the cleaner route.

Who can switch

Only the household’s owner, and a household has exactly one owner. Prices, the choice between yearly and monthly, and the payment details are all on their screen and nobody else’s. Everyone else sees when it renews and who looks after it.
