If a payment doesn't go through
Cards expire and banks block things. When a payment fails, nothing in Quidough changes: you keep your access, and nobody else in the household notices.
What you’ll see
The Subscription tab says we couldn’t take your payment, marked Retrying, with a note that your card may have expired or your bank may have blocked it. Underneath is a button to update your payment details.
What to do
Update your card, either from that button or from the link in the emails we send. Both open the same form, and the next attempt goes through once the card is good.
How long you have
The payment is tried again over the days that follow, without you doing anything.
There’s no date telling you when access stops, because the retries don’t run to a fixed schedule. Update your card whenever you can.
Emails about a failed payment
You’ll hear from us by email: once when the payment first fails, then a few more times over the week or so after that if it keeps failing. Any of them will do, so there’s no need to hunt for the most recent one.
Our emails about a failed payment always link to quidough.com. If one points anywhere else, it isn’t from us.
They may arrive in your own language even though the rest of Quidough is in English. That’s normal.
If you never update your card
Your subscription is paused rather than canceled. Update your card whenever you’re ready and it picks up where it left off, at the price you first joined at.
Your records are untouched throughout. See when your access ends.
