Scheduling a transfer
A schedule can be a transfer between your own accounts as well as a payment: a monthly top-up to savings, paying off the card, money into the joint account. It sits in the Scheduled list with everything else, and you record it when the money actually moves.
Setting one up
Start a new schedule and choose Transfer. Pick the account the money leaves and the one it goes to, say how much you’re sending, and set how often it repeats, which recurrence covers.
Same currency: one tap
You set how much you’re sending. When both accounts use the same currency, that’s what arrives, so recording it is one tap, like any other scheduled payment.
Different currencies: you type what arrived
When they don’t, what lands depends on the exchange rate on the day, and nobody knows next month’s rate, not even your bank. So Quidough doesn’t guess. When you record it, you type what actually arrived, straight from your bank, and your records hold the rate you really got.
While you’re planning, the schedule shows roughly what will land at the latest market rate, and says plainly that your bank’s rate will be a little different. That figure is only there to help you plan. It’s never saved, and it’s never filled in for you when you record.
There’s no Record early check for these, either. The screen where you type what arrived already tells you it isn’t due yet.
A card payment that changes each month
Open the schedule, change the amount, then record it.
