Duplicating an entry
Any transaction or transfer can be duplicated when you want to record another one much like it.
Everything comes across except the date
A duplicate brings over everything from the original: the account, the amount, the description, and for a transaction its category, payee and tag as well.
The one thing it doesn’t bring is the date. A duplicate is always dated today.
That’s the whole point of it. You duplicate something because you’re recording it again now, so yesterday’s coffee becomes today’s coffee without you going near the date at all.
Nothing is saved until you save it
Quidough doesn’t make the copy on the spot. It opens a fresh entry screen with all of that already filled in and the amount selected, since the amount is usually the one thing that changes.
So you can adjust whatever you need first, or back out entirely, and you’re never left with an accidental copy to find and delete.
