When a change couldn't sync

Now and then, a change you made offline can’t be saved once you’re back online, usually because the account or category it used was deleted in the meantime. Quidough keeps it rather than dropping it. You’ll see “1 change couldn’t sync” with a Review button, so you can fix it and try again.

What the review shows

The change itself: the amount, who it was to, the date, and the account. Why it didn’t save, in plain words rather than a code. And what you can do about it.

How to fix it

Tap Edit and retry. It reopens the change in the usual form, with everything you entered still filled in and on its original date. Point it at an account or category that still exists, then save it.

The change stays in the review until the new one is actually saved, so closing the form halfway loses nothing. Some changes offer Retry instead, which simply tries again as it is.

How to discard it

Discard is there as a last resort. Quidough asks before it goes, because a discarded change is gone for good, and the review shows you exactly what you’d be throwing away.

How it differs from “Couldn’t refresh”

“Couldn’t refresh” means Quidough couldn’t fetch the latest. Nothing of yours is waiting or lost. There’s more in using Quidough offline.
